ARTisan
Forget Grindline, Dreamland, Airspeed, Cali Skateparks, Wally, Team Pain, forget em all. Artisan Skateparks are the world's best skate park builders. Most of the stuff they built are only skateable if you know the owner. From Swimming Bowls to Skate Plazas, Artisan is the shit.
Anyways, they just made a Facebook page. Here's the website link: ARTISAN

Brew Me
Beer of the week time is now. Kona is killing it, no not the skate park - though the skate park is tight. Here's the LINK for the park. Ok, beer time - Walihua Summer Wheat Ale is good because its....... summer. It's got Passion Fruit, so don't be all homophobic and cry about the fruit in your beer. This isn't a Miller Lite commercial from 2007. I am not Dr. Cox from Scrubs.

Sunday at Olney
Weather was:
so some old gray hairs and I road out to Olney, MD to skate their park. Apparently the town has some gang problems amongst all the golf courses and tennis courts they have out there. Anyways, so we skated and some more old pool rippers came to pump up the three man session. Oh, and Maryland doesn't sell beer at 7-11 or supermarkets - thanks government types.
Speaking of government types (and old gray hairs), Bob Pribble of the FED can still do bonelesses five years after receiving his AARP card. If you don't know what the FED is go watch that fact filled film called Zeitgiest; it'll answer all your questions (we're all gonna die!).
What would a Keg Party post be without me plastering photos of myself all over the internet for all six readers to see? I really like how you can see my sponsors' logos oh so well. Well kinda, just click the photo to blow it up like nitro.

Street Gang's Game of SKATE
I know, I know, this happend like a month ago. Whatever, better late than never right? Keg Party's very own field operative Caio Seb-te- however you spell it won the first annual game of SKATE. Apparently what he DIDN'T win was a single game of Rock-Paper-Scissors (see the above photo for the crying that ensued). He also won some shit, including one hundred George Washington portraits and a pretty new deck from Framework (I'm diggin' the logo). Epic sesh brahs. We get a chunk of that cash, right Caio???
Johnathan Bermudez didn't stop there. He scooped some bearings from Greenhouse and personally found the shittiest board of the day and hooked the poor bastard with some spinners. I hope you said thank you, bastards.
Johnathan Bermudez worked the mic, drew the brackets, donated the moneys, donated his times, planned it outs, made it happens. And what did you do? Nuthin, At least little Caio acted like he cared by blowing the whistle, a lot...
Here's Caio cheezin' with the bills. No change needed.

See ya next year. By the way this is by far the longest post I've made thus far. I'm sorry?

Starting THIS WEEK:
Keg Party's official Beer of the Week postings will be starting..... NOW. Every week I'll steal a photograph off the internet of my favorite beer of the moment. My favorite beer usually changes about once a week so this should work out perfectly. If you see Pabst Blue Ribbon as a beer of the week that means I'm flat broke. That means buy me a beer.
The first ever Keg Party Beer of the Week (KPBotW?, KPSBW?, KPBW? (I haven't picked my favorite acronym)) is Trader Joe's Hofbrau. This beer is my favorite at Trader Joe's because it's 7% fun juice. That was the highest alcohol content I could find at the VB location last weekend soooo yea.. Hofbrau is a mailbock style beer - since I don't know what that means go look it up you ingrates. Cheers!
PS. If you're wondering what that weird little box is, that's a logo of a different Trader Joe's beer and I can't figure out how to delete it. My internet ablilities amaze even myself.

Contest Time!
Yep, its that time again. Go to the ATM, your mom's purse, dad's wallet, sister's piggy bank and shell out $20 for the chance to win free gear, pride, and maybe a little make out sesh with one of the park groupies. Mid Atlantic Skate Series has been going on for ages now and they ain't stoppin. Come to Arlington Skate Park on Saturday at like 10am or something. If you really need more information go find it yourself you lazy ingrate. What do you think this is? an information portal? sheesh...

No, not Skreech from Saved by the Bell...
Got great official news yesterday: Skreech Sandoval has joined the Addikt Skateboards team. Now the street skating filmer and I don't have to take turns filming each other on road trips! That shit takes a toll my friend. He's featured in films such as Cancer Dust and Cancer Dust 2. While I like big slow transitions, he's the master of tight tight tight tight tight tight shallow end's of pools. If I wasn't walking out the door to go skate right now I'd find a link for ya but I just don't care that much. Skreech and I will be skating and drinking at the same time in... no time.
Nice.

MT. TRASHMORE
Super stoked. Going to VB for Memorial Day weekend. Pay off some debts, hopefully pick up some gear from WRV, chill with the woman on the beach, drink in Nags head, and last but certainly not least - SKATE VERT. That means it's time to tighten up the trucks and huck a few of these:
See ya this weekend

Now for the drinking part:
Since this website is supposed to be half skating and half drinking...
Dogfish Head's 90min IPA. By far the best beer you can buy. Too bad its $10 for 4 of em.
GO TO DOGFISH
Flashback
Less than a week of summer and I already miss VA Tech and my wonderfully lovely girlfriend (just scored mad brownie points, you should take notes). Here's a few new photos of both Blacksburg and Christiansburg. Yea I know its a 4ft mini ramp, cry about it.
In no particular order we got: Caio (nice polo), Kevin with some tweakage, and finally Maks Singer and Marc B. do 5-0s on very different metal objects.

Coming this summer...
Before I do anything, I gotta skate this. There's nothing better than a perfect 8ft deep kidney pool right at the mid-point of my drive back home. Stanley, VA is part of a shortcut from I-81 to I-66 and is surrounded by Blue Ridge mountains. Pretty damn peaceful if you ask me. Check out ARTISAN SKATEPARKS for this photo and more photos, as well as useful information about it cause dis shit ain't suppos' be useful, aight?

"Why weren't you at my party last night?"
If I didn't have final exams this week, I'd simply have no reason not to drink my self into a twelve-step program. Sprained ankles are awesome huh? Finals don't mean you can't party Saturday night though. While I tried to drown my liver in booze, Jay Polyzo and company used their Saturday night to skate Virginia Tech's campus. I stole these photos from Guy LaVigne's album on Facebook. Shhh, don't tell!!
If you know anything about campus, its fucking huge. You should also know they covered a shit load of ground hitting all these spots. Don't stop, get it get it.

Knoxville Revisited
A few weeks ago, Keg Party went to Knoxville, TN and a few other parks for some good southern' skatin.' After Caio's lazy ass finally learned how to use email, I finally got the much anticipated BRO CAM edit. So here it is: BRO CAM Vol. 1.0 - Knoxtarded
West Virginia Concrete
Got some good news and bad news people. The bad news: I sprained my ankle on Wednesday skating a one foot tall grind box. This means I didn't go to West Virginia this weekend. The good news is that other people did! Peter Furnee hooked it up with some nice scenic photos. Who woulda thought people'd be dying to go to West VA???

Fayetteville, WEST VIRGINIA?!
I dont' know if any of you have been to the Northwest, but Grindline makes the best skate parks on the planet. Dreamland is a close second but my favorite is Grindline thanks to Little Eddie's tight transitions and 'organic' building techniques (ya ever write words without knowing their exact meaning???). Anywho, yeah so I'm trying to go to this like immediately... Who's comin' with? Feel free to comment so it looks like people look at this.
www.blacksburgskate.com
Prefer not to skate and drink at the same time? Maybe just skating by itself is enough. Maybe you prefer content related exclusively to Blacksburg, VA. Well, fret no more for there is blacksburgskate.com. A real website with a real url - how bout that? These photos aren't from the site but they depict Caio (wearing black and white again...) and Kevin skating the universally neglected flat bar at our park. So next time you can't think of anything to write, send 'em elsewhere!
